We work in partnership with faith-based and community organizations for best results, Our services include: 

In the United States:

  • Provide leadership training for religious and community leaders, board of directors of non  profit organizations and educational
  • Provide services that build self-sufficiency including workforce development, income generating skills, micro enterprise development, business training and startups, access to credit and resources, management skills and marketing. 
  • Conduct bi-annual business and ministry fair to promote visibility and connection with businesses, products and services as well as volunteers;
    Facilitate community outreach, conferences, workshops and seminars to promote community aware-ness and participation in building healthy sustainable families and communities, 
  • Strengthening the capacity of faith-based organization by providing them with development and management services, resource solicitation, fiscal management, strategic planning, evaluation and reporting
    Building a successful future for the next generations through early childhood development, youth empowerment, after-school tutoring, and workforce development to enhances their academic achievement and success in life
    Recruit missionaries and volunteers who travel to Ethiopia, provide them with cultural
    and country awareness training and facilitate and coordinate visa issuance and logistic
  • Solicit and channel humanitarian aid to Ethiopia and other African countries as necessary.

In Ethiopia:

  • In partnership with Talita Rise Up, an indigenous NGO committed to the well-being of women and children in Ethiopia, HFI will render holistic services including and not limited to:
  • Providing holistic services that address the physical, spiritual, psychosocial, and economic needs of women and girls who are survivors of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), the internally displaced, and female domestic migrant worker returnees from the middle east.
  • Assess the needs of women and girls affected by violence in Ethiopia and document human rights abuses and trauma experienced by women in the Tigray, Amhara, and Oromia regions during the civil war.
  • Strengthen the capacity of Talita Rise-up’s Safe Home and establish comprehensive shelters/safe homes for women and girls who are victims and survivors of VAWG in selected regions in Ethiopia;
  • Create crisis-call lines similar to the American 911 that will be open 24 hours for victims to get law-enforcements’ immediate response and support;
  • End or reduce violence against women and girls through community awareness trainings. collaborative response and interventions;
  • Resettling domestic migrant women workers who return from Arab countries and the internally displaced, and provide them with the needed assistance.
