Holistic Freedom

Holistic Freedom International, Inc. (HFH) obtained its 501 (3) 3 tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific
purposes, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations described under Section 501 (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

The president and CEO of HFH, Dr. Agitu Wodajo brings to this organization over 30 years extensive experience and expertise toward achieving successful outcomes.

Services

HFH strives to equip faith-based and community organizations with the knowledge, skills, and
resources necessary for serving the whole person (addressing physical and spiritual needs)
efficiently and sustainably. HFI’s activities include:

Leadership Training

Provide leadership training for church leaders, board of directors of non-profit
organizations and educational institutions.

Workshops

Conduct training workshops and business fairs geared toward building self-sufficiency
skills, and micro-enterprise development.

Community Outreach

Carry out community outreach, conferences, workshops and seminars to promote community awareness toward building healthy sustainable communities,

Crisis Intervention

Establish crisis intervention and restorative justice centers that provide emergency shelter, legal services, and counselling for women and girls exposed to violence.

Partnership

Establish partnership, collaboration, and networking with churches, established community
organizations.

Exchange

Coordinate cultural, and educational exchange programs with relevant institutions in
Ethiopia for technical skills transfer in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the USA and Ethiopia.

Facilitate

Provide cultural and country awareness training for volunteers and exchange program
participants who travel to Ethiopia; Facilitate and coordinate visa issuance and logistics.

Development

Grant writing/fundraising, resources-solicitation and channeling, Fiscal management, evaluation, Strategic Planning, and reporting.

Peace

Peace through sustainable development: resettling internally displaced persons and returnees.

በሀገሪቱ ሰሜናዊ ክፍል ለሁለት ዓመታት ሲካሄድ በቆየው ጦርነትና በተለያዩ አካባቢዎች በተፈጠሩ ግጭቶች የተጎዱ ዜጎችን መልሶ የማቋቋም ሥራ የሁሉንም ርብርብ የሚያሻው መሆኑን ሆልስቲክ ፍሪደም ኢንተርናሽናል መስራች እና ፕሬዚዳንት ዶክተር አጊቱ ወዳጆ አስታወቁ፡፡

በሀገሪቱ እውነተኛ እርቅና ሰላም እንዲመጣም ሁሉም ጥፋቶች በግልፅ የሚነገሩበትና በጉዳዮች ይቅርታ የሚጠይቁበት ሥርዓት ሊፈጠር እንደሚገባም አመልክተዋል።

ዶክተር አጊቱ ወዳጆ ለኢፕድ እንዳስታወቁት፤ ከሁሉም ጦርነት በኋላ ትልቁና ከባዱ ችግር ተፈናቃዮችን ወይም በግጭቱ ተጎጂ የነበሩ ሰዎችን መልሶ ማቋቋም ነው። ይህም በሀገር ኢኮኖሚ፤ ማህበራዊ ግንኙነትና ፖለቲካው ላይ የሚኖረው አሉታዊ ተፅዕኖ ከፍተኛ ነው። ተጎጂዎቹን መልሶ የማቋቋሙ ሥራ ጊዜ የሚሰጠው ጉዳይ ባለመሆኑ ሁሉም የሀገሪቱ ህዝብ ርብርብ ሊያደርግ ይገባል።
